It is our mission to establish a long-term partnership with you and your horse.
Our doctors offer over 69 years of combined veterinary experience. They are horse owners and equine enthusiasts as well as veterinarians.

Mark T. Jordan, DVM, graduated from the College of Veterinary Medicine at Cornell Univerity in 1982. After graduation, he practiced in Dutchess County until 1984 when he joined Dr. John Steiner's practice in Mahopac, NY. When Dr. Steiner moved to Kentucky in1989, Dr. Jordan started Mid-Hudson Veterinary Practice, P.C.. Dr. Jordan enjoys riding horses, fox hunting, skiing and riding his bicycle around town. In addition to running MHVP he manages Crescent Brook Farm where he keeps his own horses and boards Thoroughbred broodmares. His favorite clients bring him
cookies and chocolate, often. Most clients have already met his very unique dog Mailbox (aka "The Box").

Matt Eliott, DVM, graduated from the veterinary school at
Purdue University. He completed a year internship program at the veterinary school at Ohio State University, and subsequently, a two year residency program at the veterinary school at the University of California Davis. After the internship and residency programs, he opened his own equine clinic in the central coast area of California where he spent ten years before moving to New York to join Mid Hudson Veterinary Practice. His wife, Alexis, is an ophthalmologist in Greenwich, CT. Together they own and manage River Horse Farm, a 35-horse training and boarding facility in North Salem, NY. Matt spends much of his free time with his two event horses with whom he competes regularly.


Jennifer Enger, DVM, was born in New York and lived in Waccabuc as a child before moving to southern Texas for ten plus years. She put herself through Westchester Community College while working at 3 local animal hospitals (in Danbury, Goldens Bridge, and South Salem) and as a lifeguard in North Salem. After completing a biology major at Pace University in Pleasantville, she attended the Cornell University College of Veterinary Medicine where she graduated in 1999. Dr. Enger lives in Sherman, Connecticut with her husband, Chris, her daughter, Aspen, and three adorable dachsunds. Dr. Enger enjoys organic gardening, swimming, boating, singing, raising chickens and reading.
Michelle Singer, VMD, is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine. After practicing general ambulatory medicine in Connecticut, she is now specializing in advanced equine dentistry and acupuncture. Dr. Singer has undergone advanced training in all aspects of equine dentistry including intra-oral radiography, restorations, endodontics and orthodontics. In her spare time, Dr. Singer enjoys caring for her own horses and dogs.

Dr. Emily Harrison is a Westchester native and a graduate of the veterinary college at Cornell University. Her professional interests include veterinary acupuncture and chiropractic as well as internal medicine. In December 2010, Dr. Harrison traveled to The American Fondouk in Fez, Morocco where she spent 3 weeks doing volunteer veterinary work on the donkeys and working animals of Morocco. She also fundraised over $10,000 for the non-profit hospital. Dr. Harrison’s truck is managed by “Hayden”, a too-smart-for-his-own-good Australian Shepherd. In her spare time, she enjoys hiking and cross country skiing. Dr. Harrison is also an accomplished oboist and English hornist and plays with the Westchester Symphonic Winds.
Rachel Roemer, DVM A. Rachel Roemer, DVM is originally from eastern Massachusetts where she grew up riding on the local hunter/jumper circuit. Dr. Roemer graduated from Brown University with a degree in biology and then attended Cornell University College of Veterinary Medicine. After veterinary school she spent the next year at an equine referral center in Southern New Hampshire receiving advanced training in equine medicine, surgery and lameness. Dr. Roemer now enjoys practicing as an ambulatory veterinarian and using her clinical skills on the farm. Dr. Roemer lives with her fiance, Jeff, in Westchester and they will marry next September in Massachusetts. In her free time Dr. Roemer enjoys riding, traveling, downhill skiing, sailing and baking.
